Due to an upcoming carpet installation on the first floor of the Katz Library (scheduled for the week of August 19-23) we wanted to let you know about some temporary computer shifts happening on Friday, August 9.
- On Friday, August 9, our Adaptive Computer Workstation will temporarily move to the second floor of the library, and will be set up between the elevator door and printer.
- Also on Friday August 9, one of the Public Computer Workstations will temporarily move upstairs, to the row of computer workstations adjacent to the elevator. This move will displace one of the student computer workstations, which will be temporarily relocated to the quiet study area of the library.
The three remaining student computer workstations and one public station will be out of commission until after the construction project is complete. Remember: UMA students, faculty, and staff may check out a laptop at the circulation desk for use within the library—during this project or any time.
We thank you for your patience during the construction project. Please let us know if we may be of assistance during this time. A special thanks goes out to IT for facilitating the moves!
